The theme & design

The theme and design for Book of Dead is, of course, ancient Egypt. Even though the design may look quite simple at first, it is really detailed when you give it a closer look. 

This is a nice looking slot, and even though the theme is nothing new under the sun in the gambling world, Book of Dead is definitely one of the better designed slots in this collection of egyptic-adventure-book-of-slots. 

The backdrop is quite timid, to not steal the attention from the gold plated, shimmering symbols, which is a really nice touch. All in all, aesthetically this is a really good looking slot to play. 

Audio

The audio of the slot is actually a bit of a downer. Mostly because you must have the audio quite high to hear the “soft” bit of the audio, and while the harsh sound of the symbols landing on the playtable gets too high with a high volume, it is the only thing you will hear if lowering the volume. 

If these two sound aspects could be combined a bit better it would have improved the gambling experience, so therefore we do play this game with the sound off instead.
